From the moons light
As I climbed it in search of you
I drowned
In the tears you left there
Built up into huge floods
That trapped me and held me down
Fought against the pain you planted
And tended to
I have been blinded by the shadows
That haunt you
The ones that
Take you in their arms
And hide you from life
I hear them chant your cries
Echo your cries
And smother your cries
